This earpiece is the perfect choice for security detail or any situation that can involve discretion and comms. The coiled cord at the bottom is long enough you can run the mic/PTT button down your sleeve or to your lapel. Most users wear the entire unit under their shirt with the speaker clipped to the back of the vest and the microphone push-to-talk clipped to the front of the vest. Others will use the sleeve method and hold the mic in their hand.
The unique Centurion flat mic/PTT with a large button makes it so you can just press it when it's clipped to your chest rather than having to grasp the entire unit. You ask about quality?
I use this product in Alaska. The tepature is -65 degrees below zero. It just keeps working were other havent. Thank you for this great item.

I have purchased other earpieces for our radios, but this is the most well made one that I've ever used. It works GREAT.

Centurion Earpiece
I have used this product for the past 11 years. I personally think it should be issued equipment for all LEOs. We work State Fairs and concerts as well as everyday duties and I never miss a transmission. Great product.
