This earpiece is the perfect choice for security detail or any situation that can involve discretion and comms. The coiled cord at the bottom is long enough you can run the mic/PTT button down your sleeve or to your lapel. Most users wear the entire unit under their shirt with the speaker clipped to the back of the vest and the microphone push-to-talk clipped to the front of the vest. Others will use the sleeve method and hold the mic in their hand.
The unique Centurion flat mic/PTT with a large button makes it so you can just press it when it's clipped to your chest rather than having to grasp the entire unit. The earmold is the key
I have been in law enforcement and security for over 35 years and I have tried all types of earpieces and collar microphones and while most are comparable in technology, the earmold is what is truly impressive. The semi molded earmold offers a listening device that doesn't enter the ear canal and the sound is crystal clear without interfering with your normal hearing. The mold is non-intrusive and comfortable. The qualify of the rest of the unit is top-notch and I liked it so much I orderd a second one. Customer Service at Custom Earpieces are helpful and profressional and would recommend this company for two-way radio and cell phone accessories.

Great product. Extremely durable. Wires are plenty long enough for under shirt. Coiling helps to avoid bunching under clothing. Super lightweight. Third earpiece I bought from custom earpiece over the years. Not one of them failed. It was only because we have changed radios
