6 D452 Radios:

The Black Diamond Radio D452 is exceptionally durable and water resistant. It is smaller than most similar radios, however has a large 2,600 mAH Lithium-Ion battery for very long battery life. The D452 is feature rich, the chassis is cast aluminum and, yes, we thought of the user when we added voice annunciation. You no longer need to fumble with the radio when changing channels, it tells you what channel you've changed to out loud. When you wear an earpiece you hear that channel clearly in your ear when you change so that you don't have to guess or look at the tiny numbers on the dial.

This unit is capable of both digital and analog functionality. In digital mode it is clear and free of static, providing the clarity that has come to be expected of newer digital products. In analog mode it is capable of talking to any older radios you may have, making it backwards compatible.

Strong and weatherproof, the Black Diamond Radio D452 meets Mil 810 C,D, and E, is IP65 rated, and its advanced audio processor is designed to excel in high-noise environments and provide superior audio, even in the FCC required narrow band.

6 Sentinel HN (High-Noise) Earpieces:

The Sentinel HN (High-Noise) earpiece features less wire than other 2-wire kits. One wire leaves the radio and runs to a microphone push-to talk unit; the earpiece wire attaches at the microphone/push to talk unit near the lapel and runs under the shoulder to the back of the neck.

The high-noise component of this earpiece is that it has a "near-field" microphone. This means that the mic only picks up the user, drowning out environmental noise. By holding the mic within 6 inches of your face you are able to talk at conversational tone (THERE'S NO NEED TO YELL!) to other radio users in your network. That means the other users hear you loud and clear without the other loud elements in the room garbling your speech. The audio quality for the Sentinel coiled tube earpiece is excellent. The Sentinel features a large PTT that which lies flat; this means it is easy to find and that you can simply push on it rather than having to grab the entire PTT unit. A step saved that you'll be thankful for when your hand and your mind are engaged!

Our silicone sport semi-custom earmolds are soft and very comfortable. They can be worn up to 12 hours without fuss, and locks nicely into the ear keeping it firmly in place.

This style blocks the ear canal, pairing perfectly with our high-noise Sentinel earpieces. This design will block out loud music in a club and allow that ear to focus on radio communication without interference from your surroundings.
